2005 Post 28 American Legion was destroyed by fire. Although the insurance will
cover a significant portion of rebuilding our Legion, this represents a unique
opportunity, to make long overdue improvements to the building and property.
At the current time it is anticipated that it will take approximately 6 months
to rebuild the post home. Donations are being solicited to fund the improvements
not covered by the insurance. Tax deductible donations to our building fund
should be made out to post 28 American Legion and mailed to the address above.

Until our post home is rebuilt Post 28 will meet on the 2nd thursday of every
month @ 7:30 in the college Park Legion post hall

Post 28 members enjoy ; darts, shuffle
board, horseshoes, pool, occasional dances, dinners, picnics, socializing with
others in our lounge or just some new friends to tell old war stories to.
