Sunday Jan 23, 2005 Post 28 American Legion was destroyed by fire. Although the insurance will cover a  portion of rebuilding our Legion, it will be necessary to sell some of our land to cover the remaining portion. We have architectural plans and site permits at the county; we are exploring financing options; and we are seeking a buyer for the 4-acre lot to cover the total costs of completing the Post Home. 

The drawings above show the proposed new post home.  Donations are being solicited to fund the improvements not covered by the insurance. Tax deductible donations to our building fund should be made out to post 28 American Legion and mailed to
